Cognitive pollution deluge

How much fake news can I process in the first couple of hours in the day? Whether you care about any one of these issues (Second Amendment, IRS enforcement, Intelligence community leaks for political purposes), it should be of concern that the mainstream media is so unbalanced in their reporting. If they are this blatant on things that are easily checked, how can they be trusted on issues not easily checked?
